Maintaining a relatively active lifestyle is key to both mental and physical wellbeing, but without support it can be easy for older people to get into a routine of doing too little. To counter that issue, our recreation and outing service looks to encourage group participation and getting your loved one out and active.

This covers a range of different activities, some at home, others outside, but all coming from verified helpers who work with, and get to know your loved one, there needs and so on. With all helpers fully background checked you can have confidence that they will look after your loved one with care, whether that is playing chess or other activities in the home, or for entertainment and other events further afield.

Using their own car or using a cab, the helper will take the patient out as they wish, whether that is visiting relatives, enjoying tourist activities, spending time at a mall or cinema, or making sure they are able to attend temple or Church for prayers. Whatever the patient needs, our helpers will work with them to find a way to make it happen. From playing with grandchildren to a walk in the park, however large or small, we are there to help your loved one maintain all the activities that they love.

Having a trusted individual there to help with these things can give your elderly relative confidence too, and we often find that knowing they have support to help makes many patients more confident in going out and achieving more.

In addition, helpers can support any patient who has long distance pilgrimage requirements such as Kasi, Mathura, Tirupati and so on, making sure they can achieve their dream. Whether it’s a game at home or a long-planned trip, our helpers are there to support each patient in anything they would like to do, keeping them focused and active for better health and a happier life.
